At the start of your ride, press the red power button on the battery (through the Power symbol on the jacket) to switch the lights on. To activate an indicator while riding, do what you normally do when making a turn - straighten your arm out (above 90 degrees) to signal. The amber lights will flash for several seconds, to allow you to grip the handlebars during the turn, before they self-cancel. Press the power button again to switch all lights off.
